matching set of original 19th century antique american ornamental cast brass banded rim passage size doorknob designed and manufactured by the hopkins & dickinson mfg. co., new york city, ny. the two fanciful doorknobs were salvaged from the david c. cook mansion, built in 1884-85. the doorknobs sets were found sporadically on passage doors throughout the second floor of the residence. nicely surface patina largely intact. measure approximately 2 1/4 inches in diameter. priced for the pair.
