unique and well-maintained, clean and compact, original and intact early 1920's antique american industrial folk art "strong box" salvaged from a milwaukee area factory complex. the fabricator is not known. the hand-crafted chest contains several strips of wood accentuated with rivet heads along the top and sides. the interior is spacious and clean. an early distressed black paint finish remains largely intact. the hinged top contains a single wrought steel hasp for use with a padlock. the industrial tool chest is structurally sound and stable. 21 3/4 x 12 1/2 x 10 1/2"
