distinctive oversized original c. 1940's-1950's american vintage industrial diamond-shaped cautionary highway or road "slippery when wet" sign, possibly designed and fabricated by the indestructible street sign co., columbus, oh. the word "slippery" contains multiple holes in each letter that at one point where outfitted with "cat's eye" glass reflectors. the original bright yellow enameled finish remains largely intact. the cautionary sign contains two primary mounting holes for attachment to a signpost. the rusted dents and/or dings were likely caused by being shot at multiple times. the large outdoor highway sign is free from major bends or other major damage. measures 36 x 36 inches
