heavily reinforced antique american industrial early 20th century freestanding painted wood type set storage cabinet possibly fabricated by the yawman & erbe mfg. co., rochester, ny., founded in 1880, by philip h. yawman and gustav erbe. the weighted multi-drawer cabinet with an old cherry red paint finish contains several compartmentalized drawers with wood dividers. the cabinet contains a lockable backside access panel to the drawers in front. the bottom section features two hinged cabinet doors with spacious single interior compartment. the legs contain four tapered cast bronze legs for added stability. measures 40 x 27 1/4 x 21 1/4 inches.
