original early 20th century american royal arch masonic lodge interior emblematic doorknob comprised of solid brass with a mostly uniform black enameled inlay used to accentuate the casting detail. the oversized doorknob features a centrally located keystone containing the letters "k.s.h.t.w.s.s.t." in a circular fashion, which represent the capitular degrees of free masonry, more commonly known as a royal arch mason. possibly fabricated by sargent or lockwood. measures 2 1/2 inches in diameter.
