very unique and completely intact original late 1930's american industrial service or gas station island post lamp equipped with a fully adjustable swivel-type floodlight mounted directly above the reinforced cast aluminum socket housing. the "deep bowl" or dome-shaped reflector is comprised of cold-rolled steel with original green porcelain enameled finish. the stepped profile floodlight retains the original dust-tight glass lens or cover with original aluminum ring enclosed tightly around the rim. the swivel joint and strap remain in working condition. original weatherproof porcelain standard screw base sockets. the double-light assembly was manufactured by the goodrich electric company, chicago, il. measures approximately 29 inches tall with a 20 inch shade diameter.
