original and intact refinished c. 1940's american industrial side table or work station salvaged from a recently shuttered chicago twine factory. the four-legged cold-rolled riveted and welded joint base was likely fabricated by lyon metal products inc., aurora, il. the solid and sturdy base has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the outswept or flared feet remain in great condition, considering age. the sanded and sealed curved edge wood tabletop and undershelf are tightly affixed to the steel base. 23 1/2 inches x 12 inches x 29 1/2 inches.
