unique vintage american industrial hand-painted wood barrel containing the word "conway" painted in black against a factory green background. the primitive barrel was salvaged from the old conway clutch factory located in cincinnati, oh. conway manufactured air & friction clutches, brakes & fail safe brake systems and pulleys, etc. the old industrial barrel is comprised of vertical wooden staves, bound loosely by wire metal hoops. measures 13 x 19 inches.
