distinctive american industrial repurposed low-lying sitting bench featuring an old growth, rough cut poplar wood slab with bark-containing "natural" outer edge. the thoroughly cleaned and refinished heavy wood slab is supported by two matching factory machine bases or legs fabricated by garwood bronze & iron works, garwood, nj. the a-frame iron bases with flared feet have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. a single welded joint tubular steel pipe was added as a stretcher for increased stability. measures 48 x 13 1/2 x 18 inches.
