original early 20th century solid white oak wood multi-shelf baker's rack built specifically for the national bread company bakery located in chicago. the evenly-spaced shelf rack unit contains four solid wood corner posts reinforced with turned dowels. the slim bakery rack glides with ease using unusual disc-shaped solid steel swivel wheels often found on a car mechanic's creeper. each shelf or tier is comprised of bi-sected turned oak wood dowels mounted firmly in place. original natural wood finish. excellent condition, considering age. measures 49 x 16 x 65 inches.
