hard to find early 20th century american industrial "berloy" double unit factory locker fabricated by the berger mfg. co., canton, oh. the robust freestanding locker is comprised of welded and riveted joint heavy gauge steel. the locker has been brushed down to bare metal and treated with a clear coat protective finish. the two equally sized hinged doors retain the original highly desirable cast iron t-shaped pivoting handles. the louvered vents, found at the top and bottom of each door were spared from major wear and tear. the units contain spacious interiors with coat hook and upper shelf or compartment. salvaged from a chicago tool & die factory. dates to 1917-20. measures 30 x 15 x 67 inches.
