vintage medical mobile examination stool salvaged from the old cook county hospital. the four-legged base is comprised of cast iron with the original white porcelain enameled finish intact. the fanciful cast iron legs retain the original hardened red rubber swivel casters. the upholstered seat remains in great shape. the swivel stool was manufactured by the chicago hardware foundry co., chicago. measures 24 inches in height.
