completely intact early 20th century cutter radial reflector street light comprised of cold rolled steel with original black porcelain enameled finish. the heavy duty socket housing is made of cast iron with embossed manufacturer markings. original weather resistant white porcelain single keyless socket has been rewired with twisted yellow rayon cloth cord. manufactured by the george cutter co., south bend, in. the vintage industrial fixture is mounted on a large cast iron pulley with bare metal finish. contains a unique and fanciful mechanical sheave with deep groove for rope or cable. measures approx. 18 inches in height. the swivel hook allows the pulley to be hung in a variety of places. the clevis pin and shackle are intact.
