early 1920's vintage industrial interior factory office single incandescent light ceiling flush mount fixture fabricated by the benjamin electric mfg. co., chicago, il. the fixture is comprised of a nicely aged spun yellow brass ceiling cap or canopy with threaded socket, adapter ring and shade fitter (fastened together as a combined unit). the thick pressed "milk" glass ribbed shade or reflector is original to the fixture. the centrally located keyless socket remains in excellent working condition. a total of five identical fixtures are available. priced (and listed) individually. measures 7 x 7 1/2 inches.
