exceptional early 20th century vintage industrial revolving garment rack known as the "dorad." features a four-legged detachable cast iron base with original swivel casters intact. the heavy gauge cylindrical steel pole supports a large tubular steel ring, reinforced with evenly spaced cast iron brackets. the oversized circular rack revolves with ease. each flared bracket contains deeply embossed lettering. the antique freestanding garment rack was fabricated by jas. b. williams, inc., new york city, new york. measures 67 inches in height. mostly uniform brushed metal finish.
