c. 1938 all original hand-crafted american folk art "garage to let" advertising sign. the signed and dated single-sided wall mount sign is comprised of pine wood with a largely intact hand-painted finish. the shadowed lettering is clearly written and easily readable from afar. surface wear consistent with age. the sign maker's initials are found on the bottom right corner. measures approximately 20 x 7 inches.
