original c. 1930's american art deco style ceiling fixture or wall sconce slip or "slipper" shade fabricated by or for markel electric products, buffalo, ny. the champagne colored pressed ornamental glass shade contains a unique nauticalesque profile with flared and/or protruding top, accentuated with lightly incised floral motifs. the ornamental art glass shade was designed specifically for use with markel ceiling fixtures and/or wall sconces. the depression glass slip shade was fabricated around 1930-35. identical shades available.
