all original and exceptionally rare american art nouveau style interior theater leaded art glass transom or overhead window salvaged from an early 20th century (non-extant) theater located in cincinnati, oh. the remarkably detailed and brilliantly colored stained glass transom window features a centrally located "comedy" mask composed of fired black enamel on uranium glass. the highly detailed mask is flanked by a pair of three-legged tapered urns with flame finials. multiple floral motifs intertwined with curvaceous ribbons and multitude of faceted colored jewels are found within the flowers and below the mask. the vibrantly colored "streaked" or slag glass greatly enhances the overall presentation. the old painted wood transom sash frame is original and intact. measures 64 1/2 x 38 1/2 inches. bowing along the edges and sporadic hairline cracks evident. art glass window fabricator not known.
