pair of unique repurposed vintage american industrial weighted bookends consisting of oversized angled worm gear hobs salvaged from an old chicago tool & die factory. the solid steel components were possibly fabricated by the van dorn electrical tool co., cleveland, oh. each gear hob is welded against l-shaped heavy iron brackets. the bookends have been thoroughly refinished and treated with a clear coat lacquer. measure 6 x 4 x 7 inches. priced for the pair.
