original 1884-1885 salvaged chicago red slip glazed exterior terra cotta block designed and fabricated by the northwestern company, chicago, ills. the heavily ornamented terra cotta block was salvaged from an old 19th century pipe organ factory during its demolition. brick and mortar has been carefully removed from the rear cavities. great overall condition.
