original salvaged chicago art deco two-tone glazed terra cotta block possibly fabricated by the american or midland terra cotta company, chicago, ills. the diminutive "roaring twenties" glazed terra cotta block is in great overall condition with a nicely aged allover crazed finish. the backside contains a single hallowed cavity once containing brick and mortar. the exact 1920's-era building from which it was salvaged is not known. the square-shaped block exhibits a unique assemblage of deco design elements. only one available.
