early 1920's vintage american industrial four-legged heavy gauge steel factory machine shop stool designed and fabricated by the angle steel stool co., otsego, mi. the timeworn stool was salvaged from an old boilerworks factory located in chicago. the circular-shaped seat is comprised of maple wood with a darkened finish. the slightly contoured backrest is made of oak wood. the angled steel legs are reinforced with riveted joint stretchers. seat height measures 23 1/2 inches.
