structurally sound and stable original freestanding a-frame folding stepladder likely designed and fabricated by the peerless folding ladder company, greenville, sc. the nicely aged and/or distressed green paint finish has been lightly cleaned, but otherwise left largely untouched. the diminutive lightweight painted pine wood ladder contains two folding pressed steel hinges or brackets on each side. the cross-bracing on the opposite side containing the rungs features wood cross-bracing. salvaged from a chicago twine factory. measures 13 x 7 x 22 inches.
