decent-sized sampling of late 19th and early 20th century antique american nickel-plated steel interior residential and/or entrance door skeleton keys. fabricated by yale & towne, sargent, reading, p. & f. corbin, etc. manufacturer markings lightly incised along the bow of each key. the blades or shanks contain distinctively cut teeth or "bits." a few barrel keys (used with cabinet locking mechanisms) are found in the mix. priced for the lot.
