early 20th century antique american interior residential nickel-plated passage size doorknob with lightly polished finish. the embossed wrought steel doorknob features foliated scrollwork surrounding a central rosette. the banded rim doorknob likely was fabricated around 1900-15. possibly fabricated by sargent or lockwood.
