single completely intact and all original early 1930's antique american industrial green porcelain enameled notable chicago foundry interior pendant light fixture designed and fabricated by the benjamin electric mfg. co., chicago, il. the type "rr" cold-rolled steel "standard" bowl-shaped reflector retains the original robust vitreous or porcelain enameled finish over steel, with the white reflective coating along the underside. the tapered socket housing contain a single ceramic incandescent light bulb standard size socket. the integrated cast aluminum socket housing was designed specifically for these reflectors containing the socket and opposed screw holes for mounting flush against the ceiling. several identical green porcelain foundry pedant light reflectors are being salvaged from this sprawling industrial complex. measures 16 inches in diameter x 12 inches high.
