c. 1940's vintage industrial double folding portable chairs with a mostly uniform old red paint finish. the interconnected chairs are comprised of heavy gauge pressed steel with riveted joint double hinge assemblies. feature slightly sunken seats with slightly contoured backrests with deeply incised lines. the folding chair set remains structurally sound and stable. two matching sets available. salvaged from an old chicago auditorium.
