original and intact c. 1950's vintage industrial heavy gauge folded and pressed steel factory stool salvaged from a machine tool factory located north of chicago. the runtish four-legged stool was fabricated by the lyon metallic mfg. co., aurora, il., between 1950-60. the welded joint stretchers provide added support and stability. the angled steel legs contain pinched ends where optional casters would be inserted. the generic rounded corner wood top is original to the stool. nicely aged blue paint finish.
