original c. 1940's american vintage industrial four-legged small-sized factory machine shop workbench or table with original solid maple wood table top. the heavy gauge welded joint angled steel base has been brushed down to bare metal and treated with a clear coat lacquer. the nice and compact workbench was manufactured by the pollard bros., chicago, il. the all-welded joint "feet" or floor plates provide added support and stability. manufacturer markings lightly embossed along the footrest. salvaged from an old chicago garment factory. measures 36 x 24 x 36 3/4 inches.
