original freestanding super streamlined style vintage dental instrument and/or supply cabinet retaining original interior incandescent light source. the cabinet was fabricated by the hamilton manufacturing co., two rivers, wi. the original darkly stained or varnished finish remains largely intact. the protruding ledge contains a thick black vitrolite plate held tightly in place with steel clips. the two pull-out drawers are lined with enameled white folded steel (for sterilization purposes). retains the original brass hardware (e.g., drawer pulls, cabinet pulls, barrel hinges, etc). measures 59 x 29 1/2 x 16 inches. dates to the 1940's. salvaged from the old cook county hospital (chicago, il).
