c. 1890's american antique ornamental cast iron copper-plated flush mount hook possibly fabricated by the yale & towne mfg. co., stamford, ct. the decorative hook features an unusual open-mouthed grotesque and intricately designed leafage surrounding the base plate. the oversized triple hook has been brushed clean and treated with a clear coat finish.
