original and intact c. 1920's american industrial freestanding farm milking stool possibly fabricated by the hibbard, spencer, bartlett & company, evanston, il. the diminutive stool features a three-legged base with flared or outswept feet for added support and stability. contains a circular banded of riveted joint steel designed to provide added rigidity. the circular seat with slightly sunken center is tightly affixed to the tripod base. mostly uniform red paint finish throughout. seat 10" x height 12".
