original c. 1920's antique american ornamental stamped brass single-sided lavatory "men" door sign fabricated by or for the leslie sign co., chicago, il. the rectangular-shaped hanging sign contains slightly raised or embossed lettering against a baked black enameled textured background. the chain is likely original to the sign. nicely aged surface patina with very little surface wear evident. measures 10 x 2 1/2 inches.
