original c. 1920's american industrial double unit heavy gauge cold-rolled steel factory locker designed and fabricated by the lyon metallic mfg. co., aurora, il. the two interconnected units contain hinged doors with top and bottom louvered vents. the concealed gravity latches are controlled by fanciful turned and tapered cast iron handles. the all-welded joint steel frame remains structurally sound and sturdy. original lightly incised brass number plaques riveted tightly in place. the locker was salvaged from an old coal burning power plant. measures 24 x 15 x 66 1/4 inches. brushed steel finish treated with a clear coat lacquer.
