original early 1930's american ornamental cast brass spanish revival style candlebra ceiling fixture designed and fabricated by the beardslee mfg. co., chicago, il. the four-light fixture retains the original enameled cylindrical-shaped steel candle sleeves designed to conceal the keyless sockets. the original chain and slightly modified ceiling canopy are completely intact. the original applied patina remains in great condition, considering age. the fixture was salvaged from the chicago athletic association building annex. measures approximately 16 x 16 x 17 1/2 inches.
