original c. 1900's american antique tavern table featuring a heavy cast iron pedestal base. design and fabrication attributed to r. rothchild's sons co., cincinnati, oh. the heavily ornamented post or spindle is slightly tapered with embossed ring accent. the unusually shaped three-legged base features floral design motifs above each foot. a large centrally located threaded steel rod holds the pedestal base together. the custom-built welded joint cold-rolled steel round tabletop is tightly affixed to the pedestal base. top and base contain a brushed metal finish, sealed with a clear coat lacquer. measures 28 inches in diameter and 27 inches in height.
