original early 20th century vintage american industrial reinforced four-legged work table salvaged from an old south side chicago factory machine shop. the custom-built base is comprised of rough cut old growth pine wood, with four solid posts and cross-bracing bolted firmly together. the top consists of a heavy gauge steel plate deck. very robust, utilitarian and unadorned. structurally sound and stable. both wood and steel components have been refinished and treated with a clear coat lacquer. measures 62 x 29 x 25 1/2 inches.
