vast assortment of 1880's-1890's aqua blue and green-colored glass hutchinson style embossed blobtop bottles dug in chicago area landfills and privy pits. the bottles range from light green aqua to deep cobalt, providing a distinct spectrum of colored glass. nearly half of the dug bottles retain the original stoppers. crudities are typical of age and date of manufacture, including bubbles and whittling. discoloration and irridization varies widely among the unearthed bottles. each and every chicago soda or mineral bottle features embossing on the body and the base, with several containing fanciful monograms. bottlers include f.c. lang, frank higgins, chicago consolidated bottling company, john lomax, paul pohl, sass & hafner, hayes brothers, and many more. priced for the entire lot. no cracks or breaks evident.
