group of four original interior residential ornamental cast iron "pasco" pattern passage door backplates or escutcheons designed and fabricated by the yale & towne mfg. co., stamford, ct. the copper-plated finish is mostly uniform throughout. the decorative doorknob backplates were salvaged from a chicago two-flat undergoing demolition. several matching doorknobs and backplates available. the wrought steel thimbles are tightly affixed to the backplates. each backplate measures 2 1/2 x 9 inches. priced for the lot of four.
