early 20th century solid birch wood three-legged flared base machinist stool, salvaged from an indianapolis gauge factory. the vintage industrial factory stool contains a large threaded-end vertical central axis with the round seat on one side and an acorn-shaped final on the bottom side. the height of the stool is adjusted by rotating the seat one or the other. the two lower tiers guide the axis and hold the flared legs in a stationary position. nicely aged surface patina left untouched. seat width: 12 1/2", height adjusts: 24" - 32".
