all original and completely intact vintage american industrial factory green enameled tubular steel "localite" triple-joint machine shop task lamp designed and fabricated by the fostoria pressed steel corp., fostoria, oh. the american industrial articulating task lamp retains the original on/off toggle switch for single socket concealed within reflector housing. the salvaged chicago factory lamp is in great overall condition with nicely aged surface patina. the fostoria pressed steel company began producing the "localite" (in various configurations) beginning in 1918.
