original and working 19th century american victorian era interior residential ornamental cast iron loose pin passage door hinge likely fabricated by the p. & f. corbin co., new britain, ct. the antique door hinge contains two ornamental leaves with three pre-drilled holes for mounting purposes. the knuckles remain in great shape with very little, if any, surface wear or fatigue. the unique tapered and turned steeple finials are free from damage. the passage door hinge has been refinished and treated with a cleat coat lacquer. measures 3 x 3 inches.
