remarkable american art deco style jazz age freestanding occasional table attributed the booth mfg. co., chicago, il. the highly stylized ornamental cast iron base is comprised of three distinct sections, with two matching uprights and a supporting stretcher, doubling as an undershelf. the ironwork contains playful scrollwork accentuated with streamlined female dancers. unique lightning bolts and/or zig-zag motifs are enclosed by slightly outswept feet. additional geometric patterned panels adorn the underside of the solid maple wood tabletop. the visually striking art deco furniture piece has been completely refinished. measures 20 x 13 x 31 inches.
