collection of antique american 19th century salvaged chicago ornamental cast brass hardware salvage from the door of house undergoing demolition. the ornate brass hardware was likely fabricated by branford or norwich. the doorknob, backplate, and backplate contain a matching design. the loose pin hinge with ball finials, is possibly the "ceylon" pattern made by the p. & f. corbin company, new britian, ct. priced for the lot. the hardware dates to the 1880's.
