19th century antique american victorian era residential entrance door flush mount door bolt likely fabricated by p. & f. corbin or russell & erwin. the highly ornamented bronze metal door bolt consists of a sliding knob pull and rectangular-shaped backplate that mounts flush against the door (mounted either at the very top or bottom of the door's stile). the threaded end steel rod is not included. exceptional is design and execution. uniform surface patina. measures approximately 5 1/4 x 1 3/4 inches.
