original and intact weighted cast iron american art deco "skyscraper" style railroad dining car table base with black enameled finish. the exact fabricator is not known. the base is supported by three outswept feet with distinctive profile. the top of the table was removed long ago. the original enameled finish is mostly uniform throughout.
