exceptionally rare original single-sided c. 1900's new york city shoe shining parlor sign attributed to the enameled iron company, beaver falls, pa. the wall-mount sign contains a rich cobalt blue background with bright white lettering. the porcelain over rolled iron remains in great overall condition. original steel grommets enclosed within the mounting holes remains intact. the sign was originally mounted abvoe the sidewalk entrance of a early 20th century shoe shine parlor. measures 16 x 3 1/2 inches.
