all original vintage industrial 19th century adjustable height dietzgen draftsman varnished oak wood swivel stool. the four-legged base consists of tall and narrow flared legs with original circular heel or foot ring, reinforced by angled steel supports. the stool contains a japanned black steel threaded rod, held in place with a pierced or ventilated iron base plate. solid wood cross-bracing provides added reinforcement. manufactured by the eugene dietzgen co., principal factory, chicago. when fully extended the stool measures 38 inches in height.
