original late 1930's american made vintage industrial heavy gauge cold-rolled steel single-sided "no smoking" sign fabricated by the ready-made sign co., new york city, ny. the cobalt blue porcelain enameled finish remains largely intact with wear ad tear found primarily around the mounting holes. the reinforced sign was salvaged from a chicago paint factory. measures 18 x 5 1/2 inches.
