rare all original and fully functional american art deco machine age electric wall mount new york city theater lobby exit light fixture possibly fabricated in part by the kopp glass company, pittsburgh, pa. the double-sided edge-lit wall sconce exit light is free from cracks or breaks. the two glass panels contain lightly etched art deco style lettering. the housing contains a socket for use with long, tubular lightbulb used to illuminate the sign between the mounted glass panels. the original metallic gold finish is mostly intact with surface wear consistent with age.
